1Password and 1Password Mini

I use 1Password for password management on my rMBP but after having updated to 1Password 4, it seems as though 1Password Mini ALWAYS needs to be running in order for the app to work. Previously, just having the browser extension installed was enough. You never needed the app open and you never needed it running in the taskbar. Is there really no way to run 1Password now without 1Password Mini running? I realize it's a bit trivial, I mean it's just an icon up there but it does annoy me. Especially since they appear so close together when in use. See image:

Lol.. nevermind.. Answered my own question, it can be hidden in the preferences in case anyone else runs into the same concerns.

Or you could get bartender to organize all those "annoying" icons in the taskbar
