Will I have to re-purchase OS X server when upgrading to Mavericks? Just purchased server today

Hello all. I just purchased OSX Server today and contacted apple about if I am going to have to repurchase server when I upgrade to mavericks and I have been told to contact different divisions such as apple support and mac app store support, all telling me they have no idea please contact this another department and so forth. I though instead of continuing on this merry go round ride I'll ask here and see if anyone has any insight? In the past how has this worked. Thanks!

In the past, anyone getting a new Mac within 30 days of an OSX release has received the update free... expect it unless they announce otherwise.

I purchased just the software not a new mac, same deal? I guess I could always stay with mountain lion instead of paying for server twice in a week.
