New build of OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)....

Apple just released ML 10.8.5 (Build 12F23) to the developers this afternoon. It?s been 1 week and 3 builds later than the last release... looks like Apple could be getting 10.8.5 ready to go GA very soon.

I’m guessing early next week... but then I don’t work for Apple, and didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, either.

FWIW, I haven’t seen ANY issues with the last build (12F20), and don’t expect any with this one... according to Apple, the areas of focus include:
WiFi, Graphics, Wake from Sleep, PDF viewing, Accessibility, and Mobile Device Management

Perhaps soon if "the usual suspects" on Twitter are believable today... it's said that a "pre-release" build is available to "insiders"... and previously, this was an indication a public release may be soon to come...

It’s a developer seed, as Keith said. No idea if/when it will be released... With Mavericks coming (soon?), it may be the last minor update to Mountain Lion before Mavericks is released... no list of "fixes", all Apple gives us a list of areas to focus on in testing... but that’s just a "clue"...

That’s hard to day. Honestly, I would have expected it to have been released by now... but it’s gonna get real crowded on 9/10 with all the new stuff coming out - including 2 versions of OS X in the pipe. IMHO, Mavericks is extremely solid at this point... and I’m honestly wondering why Apple is even bothering with 10.8.5...
