There is an article at the iMore Blog that specifically asks the question, "Should Apple Make OS X Look And Feel Like iOS 7?"

What do you think? You can read the article via the link below.

Some features yes, but not a overhaul by any means.

There are elements of iOS that I would love to see on Mac OS like being able to put a custom image on the login screen. Similar to being able to put an image on your lock screen. However I wouldn't be in favor of adopting everything from iOS because the two OSes still have their differences. The whole flat design etc I'm a bit iffy on having that on Mac OS and I think Apple would be a lot more careful with that because no one is complaining as heavily about the look of Mac OS at least no one I know.

Should they? no. Will they? Yes, I think to some extent they will begin to merge the two even further. They are looking To achieve visual fluidity between all devices.

I guess it might depend on which one you owned first.
I had an iPhone then iPad and the transition was effortless.
I then bought a MBA & expected it to be the same as the other two devices.
Also being new to Apple created a steep learning curve for me.
So for me, I would like it to be more similar.

    Good Luck.
