is there anyway to delete multiple photos from iPhoto?

i have hundreds of photos on iPhoto that I'm trying to delete one at a time and its taking forever, im sure theres a way to delete a bunch at once but im not sure how or if its possible?

Since this is in the OS X forum, I'll assume you're doing it from your Mac. Can you not ctl click on each one you want to select and then right click to delete them all? I switched to Aperture because I found iPhoto so limiting.

Yea I'm using mbp, I haven't tried what u suggest but ill give it a shot. Thought maybe i can put a check or something like that on each photo I wanted to get rid of and delete multiples at once!

Ya selecting with mouse over would work, as will shift and left or right arrow.

Ctrl click does not working iPhoto.
