Question about Flash on a macbook pro

Sorry if this has already been covered but I couldn't find anything by searching.

I have never had an apple computer. I am buying a mac book pro and I was just wondering about flash support. I know Apple products don't support Flash. Its one think to not be able to view flash on my iPhone and iPad but I don't know if I would be able to get by without flash on my laptop.

Are there any options here?
