Hi, Just got my MBP back from apple care, needed a new hard drive. Prior to the hard drive problems I was having many issues with my MBP after installing Lion. My MBP was shipped out to apple care with Lion and came back with snow leopard. So I have 2 questions, first i want a total clean install of lion on my MBP, how do I do that? Second after a clean install of lion, I do I bring everything over from time machine with out bring any corrupted flies? Thanks for looking.

Use the disk utility to wipe your drive. Just manually copy and paste your information when done.
