Just curious - every once in a while i like to clear up the cookies and website data for safari, and when i did so today, i couldn't manage to delete the "Local storage" for the websites. every time i cleared all website data, within one second every website would come back and underneath them it would say "Local Storage", not "cookies" or "cache". I managed to get rid of it, but can anyone explain in simple terms what the Local Storage means and why safari wasn't getting rid of it? Is it just data from the websites stored locally on my hard drive?
