I just purchased a 21" iMac (late 2013). It came with Yosemite installed, but I immediately upgraded to El Capitan, then migrated my profile and data from my long-used 15" MacBook Pro (2008). Mostly I like the OS, but am having a couple little problems.

I have noticed that whenever I reboot the system, it will not automatically connect to my wireless network. This was never an issue on the MBP. It becomes a pain since, at boot up, iCloud is not able to connect and/or log me in. I am subscribed to iCloud Photos and use Music Match, so it is imperative that the system log in and I would prefer that it happened automatically.

Is there a particular .plist file or something that may be corrupted that I can just delete and then configure my network?'

    Thanks!

    Randall

Thanks Robert. I made the changes described in the article, but immediately left for a trip to the states to spend Thanksgiving with family. So I will have to report on the outcome when I return.
