sorry if this has been answered already but after the update when I turn my macbook on it goes to a white screen with my screen name and password area. once i enter my password then the loading bar loads. is this something new with he update? preciously my computer would load the bar and then ask for my password.

Other than that, is your MacBook working correctly? As for your question, I'm not sure because I don't see a loading bar when my MacBook boots up to the login screen (OS X El Capitan). In fact, I don't recall seeing a loading bar after logging in, but then again, it may be that I just haven't paid any attention to it. I'll look for a loading bar the next time I boot up my MacBook and then let you know.

Thank you for the reply, yeah everything seems to be OK it's just that when I turn it on it goes to the login and then I have to put my password in and then it loads where as before I would turn it on it would load and then it would ask for my password
