I've seen apps for printing to real printers (PrintCentral) but I haven't owned a printer in five years. I always print everything from my Mac to a PDF (build in on a Mac) and I want to do the same on my iPad. If I ever need a hard copy I can print the PDF at work or a business center.

    Any ideas?

I haven't tried it but you can take a look at the Print to PDF app in the App Store. This should be what you are looking for.

PDF Provider from Dar-soft works better for me. It can merge several PDFs into a single and you can choose the order.

Print to PDF is an app for that, but is has been removed from the App Store :-( Google Book afklets for Safari Mobile and you can find JavaScript for saving at least web pages to PDF. Succes!
