Ipad verizon Demo locked down verison

How can you delete bookmarks that are on the homescreen? I know on a normal ipad, Iphone, Ipod you just press and hold. Then press the x to delete. But the store demos will not let you delete. So is there another way to delete these bookmarks on the homescreen?

The store demos are designed for that so no one can mess up the iPad since its for DEMO USE. Apple creates a special iOS version just for the demos. (Even the device says "Demo display. Not for re-sale" on the back)
