Ipad Exchange Mail won't connect to server

Have an Ipad and am trying to set up Exchange Mail account - have all info in correctly for Mail configuration but yet when you go into Mail Inbox or try to send mail it says Can't Connect To Server

Has anyone any ideas??? Can you set up mail on a Wifi only ipad?

First of all, make sure you check use SSL (if it's not or toggle it and try). Second make sure you connect to the correct server. Many exchange installs have a front end, a back end and a web server and you probably want to use the webmail URL. Make sure your exchange admin has not turned off access via active sync to portable devices.

For what it's worth I have the basic wifi model and exchange works perfect for me so it can work...just need to tweak or troubleshoot your settings.
