iPad wallpaper not clear

Just got my first mini iPad and I'm trying to put a picture as a wallpaper but when I do it it comes out kind of fuzzy or too big, not like when I do it on my iPhone, any solutions for that? Maybe in settings or something?

What's the resolution of the image? Could be a stretched image, and therefore, very pixelated.

How would I be able to check the resolution of the image? I guess I think its too zoomed in and I can't seem to make it zoom out and make it clearer

You likely need to choose an image with a larger size.
