    Hey all.

    I tried to buy an app today but I was charged ₹60 every time I clicked Buy ...I had three failed and one successful transaction and ended buy paying ₹240 additional...

    Is this some kind of weird Apple policy!?? What's going on?

    I spoke to Apple...they replied saying it's not a charge..it's just a way to verify you have enough money in your card..my question is..will this happen every time?

    Happens whenever you change your card info. They validate your card and refund that ₹60 within 10-12 working days.

    after exchanging 7-8 mails, today, out of nowhere, I get a mail saying:

    "This is XX from iTunes Store Customer Support.

    This "changing" my card bit is slightly confusing. There WAS no card linked to my iTunes Store account before this. I just added it and this happened...

    They charge that amount to check whether the card is still active or not. They will refund you in a few days.
