Screen durability question

This question doesn't pertain to scratching the screen or anything. I want to know how durable the screen is to cracks. What I mean is sometimes I hold the iPad with a little too much pressure when I'm walking around the house with it and I'm worried that if I continue it that the screen will crack. And also when I press down sometimes with a lot of pressure (not on purpose) I sometimes have a little rainbow streak. It literally goes away when I remove my finger but I'm worried that I have done damage to my iPad

iPads use GorillaGlass... it's unlikely you can break it from holding it... unless you go "Incredible Hulk" on it. The 'rainbow streak' is normal when exerting pressure on an LCD screen and is not generally something to be worried about on an iPad... on a non-touch LCD panel, I'd avoid doing that...
