Weather widget on the iPad mini?

I would like to have the weather widget on my iPad Mini just as I have it on my iPhone 4S
Does anyone know how to put it in the iPad mini notification area?

That's not a feature on the iPad unfortunately.

try the app fahreheit it will keep the current temp on top of the app like the calendar app keeps the current date. that is the best you can do unless you jailbreak i actually use this app on my 4s also it saves me the trouble of pulling down the nc.

Maybe true for "stock" iOS, however, widgets work just fine on a jailbroken iOS device.
