Here is a picture of my motorcycle. It is a 2005 Yamaha R1 which has been tweaked a bit. Really enjoy it on the odd weekend when I get to go out with a few fellow friends, rent the track for a few hours and do a few laps. Have modified the electronics, fuel system, exhaust, gears and body to make it handle well. Have done even a few more small mods to bike since these pics were taken.

I don't own it anymore, but this was my cycle. It's a 2007 honda 919 (or hornet 900 for our friends in europe). I put the most miles on this thing out of all the cycles I have had; ended up selling it with 42k miles and change on it. I've had a couple harleys (1999 fat boy and a 2006 sportster 883) and a couple honda's (2004 rebel 250, 2007 shadow saber 1100 and the 919). I think in total i've racked up a total of 160k miles or so on all the bikes I have had; I may be a bit off since I don't have the records in front of me.

I'm thinking my next bike will be a BMW R1200R or a BMW F700GS. I hate to sound indecisive, but I like both a lot.

Nice list of rides. I've had my Yamaha since new in 2005. Still like new as I tend to treat them like babies. Only 21,000 KM on it. I know my next bike will be a Ducati or Aprillia. Have not quite decided. Will be a change for me as I am use to the inline four as opposed to the V4. BMW makes a nice ride, but do not have the power I am use too. As for miles on a bike, I could not even begin to tell you. Bikes have been a part of my life for close to 50 years now. I was 6 or 7 when I got my first taste of them. Well over 500,000 KM at least and probably a lot more than that.

Have not done as much riding as I would like to last couple of years but that will change in the near future as I look forward to retirement. Best trip I ever did on a bike was a 6 week tour of Newfoundland and Labrador. Eight of us just packed up and did it. Beautiful riding the coastline. Fresh clam bakes almost every night and people there were unbelievably hospitable. Well "Keep upright" and I hope more members post their rides. I enjoy seeing pictures of other peoples rides.
