Hey, I noticed two posts in this section related to photography/cameras so I thought it would be nice to ask here for camera recommendations.
I am in the market for a waterproof/rugged digital camera that can capture good pictures and decent video. I'm not expecting great quality, but good enough.
I'm looking for a camera that has: 1. Optical zoom during video recording, 2. 720 HD video capture, 3. At least a 2.5 inch size screen, 4. battery can be removed and charged separate from the camera.
I have read other sites/forums about the best cameras of this class.
So far, for my price range, it has come down to the Pentax Optio W90 or the Olympus Stylus Tough 6020.
Anyone want to chime in on the pros and cons of these two cameras?
Maybe share your thoughts on other brands? As long as it isn't a Sony.
I would like to use this camera as an everyday point & shoot. Also, I plan on taking this camera on fishing trips and to the beach.
