Is there any other colors then the normal black/grey or the blue and orange? If not, what's a good website to theme your Switches look with remote decal and all that?

Nintendo recently announced that there would be yellow Joy-Cons on June 16th. Not sure if they'll come in a system bundle, but I wouldn't be surprised.

If you want to customize the Switch look, go to Colorware. It'll be expensive, but you'll get a Switch painted to your exact specifications. Whatever you do, don't get decals -- apparently DBrand (the device skin giant) won't do them because Nintendo's choice of materials means that you wreck the surface if you take a skin off.

The only colors that Nintendo offers with the console are the black/grey and the neon red/blue. It looks like there will be a neon yellow official Joy-Con option this summer (if not already?) - but there's tons of plastic and silicone covers for the Joy-Con from 3rd party sellers. Google is probably your best bet for that.

They have had some pretty gnarly results with the adhesive ruining the finish on the Switch, so buyer beware when it comes to stick-ons.

i would definitely choose the blue orange. if you want to custom your nintendo switch i would highly recommend dbrand. hope this help

Nintendo currently offers 3 colour options.
1) Neon Yellow (coming soon)
2) Black / Gray
3) Blue & Orange

The main new announcement for me was the new Joy-Con attachment that extends the battery life of the controllers. Any extra battery power is a win for me 😃


I don't know of any sites that are currently making skins for the Joy-Con controllers, I would normally recommend Dbrand but they not making any because "the coating is not compatible".

Colorware selling custom colored joycon with colored grip and custom colored console. The console has a long wait time due to stocks but they ship the joycons in a couple weeks.

My brother bought the grey black one, and it looks amazing! I think Nintendo is doing the right thing by offering new colors separate from a console, as that lets people who already have bought a switch get new colors, although I do wish they would offer them both as separate joycons and as a new console choice...

I'm probably just a boring person, but I'll be doing grey / black ones for sure. I do like the idea of getting different colored joy-cons if I end up buying multiples for multi-player stuff. Reminds me of the N64 days when I was a kid, and we had a bunch of different colored controllers to fight over!

Personally I'd love to see Nintendo do a Gamecube-Purple colored Switch. I think a lot of people would get a kick out of that....I know I would!

I really want a pair of neon green joycons. However, even if I could get the pink & green joycon bundle in the US, I wouldn't do so just to get a single green joycon.

You might be able to get a double green eventually. They sell double red, double blue and double yellow packs. They also sell a red and blue pack that's the other way around to the console so you can have 2 pairs! I think that's super clever of them!

Colorware is expensive, but they have tons of colors available in both regular paint and metallic. On top of that they have each of those colors avaiable in gloss or matte. We did purchase one through colorware but it has yet to arrive. I can post here how the quality is once I receive it.

I thought I would prefer the grey, but it seems like the grey joycons have a different texture on the outside? Like the blue/orange is smooth normal plastic, but the grey is almost rubberized? Does anyone have any experience with this?
