What is Oldies music?

What gets me is, when I turn on a Classic Rock station, I now get 90s rock along with that from the earlier decades. Grunge is now Classic Rock.

Wow, but then again, 1990 was almost 30 years ago.

I prefer to classify my music a little differently. I have only two classifications
1. What I like....
A. Most all popular music from 1940’s to about 1985.
B. Country from the early 60’s to current.

And

2. What I don’t like....
A. Rap.
B. Hip-Hop
C. Anything that I can’t understand the lyrics contained in it.

Ok, I admit it, I’m an Old Fart, proud of it and good at it.
