According to the specifications the BOSE Soundsport Pulse gets five hours of battery use, so I decided to get the BOSE Soundsport charging case which gives you an additional eighteen hours. That will be enough...LOL

Used the Powerbeat3s today for the first time while running in a 5k. They worked great and seriously the battery life and W1 connectivity are AMAZING!!!

I'm now using my Apple AirPods. Totally happy with them.

This is my first time seeing/knowing of my BOSE QC 35's updating. Has anyone else noticed this and what does this update include?...

I'm at home now and after I get cleaned up, I'll update my QC-35 headset. Thanks again for the tip, Spencerdl.

As of now, I use the following headphones and earpieces in order.

1. Bose QC-35
2. Audio-Technica ATH-M40x
3. Apple AirPods

I have:

B&W P5
Sony WH-H900N
AirPods
Yamaha model I forget
Some old Koss

The Sony's are new and so far are making me happy and believing you don't have to buy Bose for good noise cancelling.

The B&W are not active noise cancelling but very nice neutral sound, superb build, and just nice items.

As for AirPods.... Isn't there a rule that says you just need to shut up and buy them if you have an iPhone?

The only change I’ve made in this regard from my previous post in August 2017 is that I’ve added a pair of Jabra Elite 65t wireless earbuds. I now use them at the office because they’re discreet and phone calls sound great with them.

I'd have to say I don't like that rule. I upgraded my list to BeatX. Finally broke down and went wireless though I still have my Thinksound buds and the dongle for when I don't need wireless convenience. The BeatsX give me the W1 functionality of the airpods but I don't have to worry I'm going to lose one or both buds and they fit my ears a lot better. Especially after replacing the tips with some nice Comply foam tips.

The Beats are very good and maybe I should have qualified my comment with how good the AirPods are for phone calls and overall versatile use.

I returned the Beats because the basic design makes you hear too much of yourself in a phone conversation and blocks out too much ambient sound for the use at work. The AirPods with the EarBuddyz or similar got me advantages of the BeatsX and AirPods. If it was all about workouts and sealing out the rest of the world I might have kept the Beats.

A lot of people I know who do the same work I do, who do sales, and other jobs seem to love the AirPods as I do where they're as much a primo telecom device as they are for music and podcasts.
