Perhaps you could just purchase a webcam and use a cam service over wifi to accomplish what your going for. I know that doesn't answer your question but maybe you could somehow use a webcam program and somehow get the computer to identify your iPhone 4 as a webcam. Im sorry I couldn't be of...
