I would love one, so I could join my coworkers in leaving the laptop at home on trips and just take the lightweight ipad! Keynote, Pages, Screens, and a Browser and I'm 99% functional!
I'ld love to charge my whole 'travel kit'.. That'ld be my Jawbone headset, iPhone 3G (of course), and a pair of external batteries. If it could do all that my just emptying my pockets onto the pad (and maybe even charge my wife's iPhone at the same time), I'ld be in heaven!

It's publicly available on the App Store now. I just installed it, and it seems to work pretty well. I was unable to automagically checkin at a few places (it seems to rely on the GPS, unlike the Website which relies on Loki), but it's alot faster than the i.brightkite.com webapp.

AS a fellow Zagg Invisible shield user, I highly recommend it.
I only use the front, however. The Back part is difficult to install (mainly because of the corners).
While that is a kewl idea, it's probably too close to Tethering for Apple to implement it.
Personally, i'ld like to see better use made of the GeoLocation features & BlueTooth, eg enabling Macbook apps to query your iPhone for your location and update accordingly (like the new Geode extension).
