Been jailbroke for over a month now and not one single problem my phone is better than it ever was before! And all it came down to was by not installing or using ' winterboard ' thanks to all who contributed wish I had asked this question a year ago my phone is now the dogs bollox!

Stay away from winterboard my old 8g 3g is loaded up wit h no issues at all running intelliscreen etc

It works have been on holiday in Egypt . I unlocked phone and brought a local sim card really cheap have been using skype all the time on 3g network and call quality has been superb .

i had problems when i jailbreaked my phone with icy. Nothing worked . My solution i found on the forum . Quite simply do not select icy when jailbreaking -just select cydia and once jailbreak is complete icy will be on phone. Just hope you have a 3gs for winterboard because my 3g sufferd lag...
