I had called apple today trying to fix a different issue, but while on the phone with them I hung up on them with my cheek. I called back and let them know what happened and they said this is an issue that they know about and that I would probably have to return it for a new phone.

You are correct I did restore from backup. But it was working before, but I guess maybe one of them may have messed up. I will try out that, thanks for all the help!

When I access the photo or camera app for my phone it says updating and at the bottom it gives me a bar that says rebuilding library. The bar gets about 75% complete and then the app closes. The problem is I cannot even take a picture because the same thing happens when I open the camera...

I have one that has a magnetic clasp to keep the case shut. It hasn't caused any issues for me and I have been using it everyday for a few months.

I use two thumb ,but since I have read this thread I have been trying the one thumb, one finger approach and I am really enjoying it.

I lowered my brightness to about 30% and that seemed to help a lot.

I find it hard to get bored with the iPhone there a far too many things I can do with this. Frankly I don't know how I went through a workday before without it. If you do find yourself bored maybe try and not use it for a few days to remember what it was like B.I. (before iPhone).

I agree it wouldn't hurt to wait.

Is the battery difference pretty dramatic? I always run on 3G, but I listen to mostly podcasts while at work maybe I should drop it to edge when it's not in use?
