I have thought about this endless times before. I personally like the form of the older 3GS much better than the iPhone 4. The problem is the battery. If the batteries were even comparable then I wouldn't think twice about doing that and would probably be posting this from the 3GS.

This would be a great surprise. I have been waiting for this phone for a while but unfortunately are not eligible for the device at promotional pricing so will not be getting it. And TIPB is my go to source...daily...for apple news!!

I'm sure more 11-year olds than you want to admit know what you meant. Sad times. But back to the topic... I happen to agree with a lot of responses. Different items for different people. I for one think that the iPad perfectly complements a Mac laptop / computer if you need just basic web...
