Be specific and clearly define your criteria of what would make one "good". Don't just assume that your preferences are universal. What's your budget? The more info you provide the better the recommendations you'll get.

Don't assume that your notion of "value" is the same as everyone else. Post a specific budget. "Value" and "quality" are both highly subjective and that's precisely why you see 10 different opinions. What headsets have you liked? what have you disliked? What types of music do you listen to...

I use TomTom. Subjective. I don't really miss it. I prefer having locally stored map data. YMMV, of course.

IMO USAA has been great as a bank. I was dubious at first but they do make efforts to make banking with them as convenient as possible, considering that you probably don't have any local branches unless you're in San Antonio or certain other cities where they're establishing financial centers.

Apple doesn't but there are plenty of apps to choose from. I'd highly recommend TomTom or Navigon. In my experience you get what you pay for. Again, TomTom and Navigon are quality. They're certainly not free though. I can't see dealing with my old Android device for nav but to each his own.

What account(s) are they being synced with?

^ This. The POP server isn't updated until the next time your device's mail app polls the server. You're seing "inconsistent" (they're not inconsistent if you think it through) results for that reason. Sometimes the server is polled before you get to Outlook, sometime's it's not.
