Hi guys, I have the iPad 2 (obviously, as if not I'm in the wrong forum), and I've had it since last Christmas. Now, just recently, I've noticed that it's beginning to be a bit jerky and unresponsive at times, with the home button sometimes not responding, and multitasking gestures not playing...

My iPad 2 certainly feels snappier! And the new Clock app is lovely! Missing YouTube, though! Oooh, post 1337 (Leet)! Prize time? And I've gone up from the lowest iMore Level to Newbie in just a few hours!

Does the iPad not get the coloured status bar?

Update downloaded. Now to install it!

And we are on the home straight. Providing my download time estimate doesn't decide to change, I've got 5 minutes until we're updating, which means it took about an hour to download.

I was the 1006th post. And 1006 multiplied by 1.192842942 is 1200, and 1200 / 200 is 6, a la iOS 6. Does this Maths deserve a gift code? And this is on Page 106!

Downloading... very slowly!

Whilst waiting, I've got the stopwatch out, and came out with these findings: 1) 1mb @ 11.8 secs 2) 1mb @ 11.7 secs 3) 1mb @ 16.6 secs 4) 1mb @ 8.9 secs 5) 1mb @ 9.2 secs I'm cycling between going quickly and very slowly!

And the download time continues to go up... If only the progress bar had the same enthusiasm for going up!

What is my luck?! In iTunes, I refreshed and it told me the update was available. I clicked 'Download only', and then it told me the resource couldn't be found! And now it says that 5.1.1 is the latest version... again!

My iPad isn't even refreshing the Software Update screen anymore - how stubborn of it to believe that it is correct in saying I'm up-to-date!

I think Britain used their data allowance for the next Year on the Olympics... Nothing here yet!
