I'm new to jailbreaking, but did so successfully to my Verizon iPhone 4 with the 4.2.8 tutorial you posted. Thanks for that! I'm not sure what's going on, but the installer.app was not installed with the bundle (was it supposed to be?). I'm trying to use the NES emulator, but need installer to get started. I downloaded it from a 3rd party site. My problem is that whenever I try to open it, it acts like it starts to open, but then closes right away. I saw a video on YouTube where a kid had the same problem, but nobody really knew what was going on, only told him to restore and jailbreak again. I tried that, didn't work. I was just trying to find an answer, because I can't find anything about it online anywhere. I'm sorry if this isn't a good place to be asking, but again, I'm new to all of this

I get a weird message when trying to do the 4.2.8 jailbreak on my white iphone 4 verzion. It said "The Iphone "Iphone" Could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build." No error code, or numbers. just a more informatoin button that takes me to a general help page on apple.com. Any ideas? I have tried my custom, your custom, I put the bundle in the right folder.... lost now. my email is cj@sugareffect.com thanks in advance for your kind help
