.WIN file to IPSW

Everytime i download 3.1.2 it wont let me open it with red snow all i wanna do is jailbreak my iphone 3.1.3. I download straight from apple and the file i can never ever get redsn0w to find it. can someone give me a link to a better website with a 3.1.2 download?

I'm running 3.1 that's my firmware not running 3.1.2 Is there a file for a 3.1.2 firmware update doing it manually (shift and restore) without losing everything on my iPhone?

Okay what I have here is a IPHONE 3G launch model (MB) serries I'm running firmware 3.1 (7C144) with modem 05.11.07 Will this run properly or just mess up my phone?
