Well, I didn't jump from a X to Xs max... I made a HUGE LEAP from the 6s (4.7) 64gb to the Xs max 256gb! Love this phone. Was contemplating between the Xs and the max but after a lot of back and forth and using the regular version for 3 years, decided to go for the max version.

I think this worked.... I turned off bluetooth form settings and then restarted it... Connected my airpods disconnected them.. Earpiece speaker still works....! Will see if it continues throughout the day as I connect airpods several times a day. Wish me luck! And thank you so much for the tip!

So u mean just turn off bluetooth and observe for a day? Yeah I can do that... I'll give it a try.

Haha.. Same here.. Hate wires.. Using bluetooth earphones ever since they got half way decent. The convenience is just too good to give up. Strange that u are not facing the issue after airpods connection (lucky you!). M 90% sure it's after I connect and disconnect my airpods.

Haha yess I do love it.. Its everything one can wish from a phone. The only issue is the size/ impossible one handed use. But then I CHOSE to buy the max over the regular version so I can't complain. I hope I'll get used to it soon enough. Other than that... This phone is a dream to use!
