I am having the very same problem, when my battery reaches 35 to 33% my phone shuts off. When I plug it in it comes back on with around 38 to 40% charge remaining. I tried putting my phone in DFU and reinstalling iOS 7, hoping that would fix the problem. No luck! This is definitely an iOS 7...
