I bought one but found I don't use it very much - I'm much more likely to use my iphone 4. The main problem is that its very heavy which is awkward! If you have an iphone the resolution also looks a little pixelly in comparison.

Have about 1500 songs , not really into video though so just music!

My iphone 4 is on PAYG too (o2) and it works fine - got unlimited texts as well.

Standard case is nice but it doesn't fit in the old iphone dock which is a bit annoying :(
