    Backup or sync itunes purchased music from iPad

    Check the "import" function. You import files/songs into itunes. And don't auto sync, otherwise, iTunes will replace all iPad existing songs. I've suffered loss of all my iPad music files. It's so upsetting. Hope it can do you a favor.
