If you think about it, the new iPod touch 5G is basically a smaller iPad 2! They pretty much have the same specs! They both have an A5 Processor and 512mb of RAM. The only differences - Smaller Screen, no Cellular Data option. Tell me what you think of this thought, NetworkLabs Creations

On my iPod touch 4G White 8G, it seems to be doing amazingly! I haven't noticed hardly any battery drain in my device. So I think mine's good.

Very much so. Because although the 4G still needs to have it's place, 5G must have it's place also. I mean, the 5G has some drastic improvements from the 4G! You can't have no forum for a new model that has actually improved a lot! I will probably be purchasing the 5G very soon for the camera...

I am actually going to iOS 6 GM in hope of fixing my battery drainage on my iTouch 4G. But since I had jailbreak tweaks, that also led to problems. Hopefully with my new white iTouch 4G, that will help with the battery issues also! I will give reports!

DFU mode is most likely your only hope. It's nearly impossible to break this mode. Like I said, nearly. But, with your situation, I doubt you broke it, since it's in iBoot. So do DFU Mode, it's the only way!
