I HAVE RETURNED... to the iPhone 3G! - Round Robin!

It sure is quiet around here during the holiday. Did everyone get something better than the iPhone to play with? Ahahaha, get it? Cause there's nothing better than the iPhone? ;)

Someone has some kind of gps thing on my phone?

@melwan Thanks for clearing that up. That was aimed at the people complaining about Apple's approval process and the fact that they even have one. While I understand the frustration and think it's wrong they turn away some of the apps they do, I'd rather have someone smarter than me look it...

    Cracks on my iPhone

What about changes in temp? Could the expanding and shrinking possibly be causing the cracks? Being encased could cause abnormal heat buildup right? Yes, I confess, I'm bored and waiting to open presents.

    Cracks on my iPhone

The only difference is the paint color and I doubt they use a different type of paint. I agree more with the "it's harder to see on the black" assessment. I've yet to see anyone complain about a crack and be able to honestly say they haven't dropped or mistreated it. Just beware, the plastic...

Someone has some kind of gps thing on my phone?

You should contact AT&T and let them know what is happening. They would know more about what people can and can't access and help you put a stop to it. If all else fails, file a harrassment charge with the police (don't erase his texts, that's evidence). As far as installing something on a...

    Pondering the Iphone

I use Yahoo mail and it too will save my attachment for later. However, and this may have been your problem with exchange, it seems the iPhone has a pretty small cache so if you exit mail, do a few things over the internet, then go back to mail, you'll find that you have to redownload the file...

2008 TiPb Awards: Favorite iPhone FIGHT of the Year

The war between the iPhone touchscreen and the other touchscreens. I said scroll!! No, that was a flick, you're supposed to keep going. Ok, it's not working...pushing harder...oh no, is that LCD fluid?

2008 TiPb Awards: Biggest iPhone FAIL?

Wow, I had forgotten all about that **** backup process, what a miserable time that was until someone pointed out you could exit it and continue on with the sync. I'd give it a tie between that and the lack of push notifications. I'm sure they HAVE their reasons for delaying push for this...

I HAVE RETURNED... to the iPhone 3G! - Round Robin!

What's new? Let's see...Urbanspoon updated to include all US cities (ok, not great for Rene, but really nice for those south of the Canadian border), TVersity is a great way to stream content (yes, video!) from your computer, I found my car in Google streetview, found out you shouldn't splash...

CrackBerry Kevin on the iPhone 3G - Help!

I don't have mobile me or gmail, but I'll answer as much as I can. For the notifications, no you can't clear them all. Well, if it's an rss reader then maybe, it just depends on the app I guess. In mail I THINK you can just move the "read mail that's actually unread" into a new folder. The...

    iPhone improvements..?

I've always thought a "quick reply" would be great. The original software would keep a text as unread when you hit close. Somewhere along 1.x they changed that. It was waaay more annoying to have to open the SMS app to clear the badge of a text you already saw. But the ability to send a...

    Aps for the following?

For video you can install TVersity to your PC or mac and stream any video from your computer. They take care of the format conversion for you.

CrackBerry Kevin on the iPhone 3G - Help!

When I type I like to hold it in portrait mode, centered equally in both hands, pinkies under it with both thumbs typing away. Pay attention to the auto-correct for a while. Get to know what it catches and what it doesn't, it's way beyond a basic spell checker/T9 type of auto-correct. This...
