Tried to take the same picture with a 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4. Thought some might be interested in the results. I see a huge improvement from the 3G to 3gs, but less so moving up to the 4. Biggest improvement I see in the 4 is looking at the leaves on the trees in the background 3G 3GS iPhone 4
