This is actually a great point... I think Apple has something special in store that we have no idea about for this phone.

I love that Apple is streaming this iPhone event. Luckily my school just got onto the one to one program(Senior in HS) so I will be able to "work" and have the keynote right beside whatever I am doing. Can't wait!

I shouldn't have said no one. I personally love the iPhone 5(s) design. I didn't like the iPhone breaks at first but it grew on me. My favorite device design of all time is still the original iPhone. The point is people go insane on an ugly design and then later a lot of people change there...

I am hoping for pre-orders. Other than that I would go to an Apple Store and not a carrier store. At least in my case they have only low end models and it takes 2x as long. Plus standing in line is fun at the Apple Store. Employees will give you water and coffee and depending how long the line...

This has happened with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 though. No one liked the breaks in the Antenna when first pictured (myself included) but then (in my opinion anyway) it came to be one of the best designed phones ever. Same with the iPhone 5... People weren't fond of the 2-tone back but now...

Picked up a box of Nilla Wafers last night because of this thread. Great decision.

Skype in general keeps crashing... Used to be just messages would be painful to send =(

Mine does this sometimes. You can either wait it out or restart the phone and try again.

The beta has dropped. OTA only right now. Get downloading!

I believe these features are only available with iMessage because of the dependency on Apple's servers.

I think I can make out a little divider in the middle of that square. Seems interesting...

Okay I figured it out. For me I put it on the dashboard and restarted the phone then restarted it (power + home) and then it updated with the information from the m7 from what seems to be before the update even took place today. It's really cool I like it.

Mine doesn't do that. Did you do anything special to enable that feature? I would love for my iPhone to do this...

Just with Messages in the iOS 8 beta right now I love interactive notifications. I can't wait to see developers take advantage of them!
