NavAssist v2.0 was just released to the App Store!!! This version adds local searches! Now you can cut and paste, type in an address, or select an address from your contacts AND do local searches anywhere and see the results on the map! Now using Navigon is a breeze! -Jason

I agree with the learning from the Stanford course. Then just dive in and try to make a simple Application that can be built upon and just do lots and lots of google searches.

I agree with this, this is how I got started. From there I just started developing an app that I wanted to use for myself and just did LOTS of google searches whenever I needed to learn how to do something. There is tons of great information out there for any aspect of the iOS platform. But...

I bought my iphone 4 the day it was released, and the text message they sent me said a full upgrade is not available at this time, but I may qualify on 02/25/2012. Whatever that means.
