I think iCloud does the compressing - but either way I don't know which Codec to download and there are many cautions about untrustworthy sites. I don't care if I don't use windows media player but it doesn't want to play on QuickTime or on the VLC media player either.

Another probably basic question -- What does it mean that I "skinned" VLC? I meant to pin it to the taskbar and instead skinned it to my desktop?

I do not know what VLC Player is. Interestingly enough the video did look better once I downloaded it to my PC - when I played it in iCloud, though, it was quite fuzzy.
