    can I upgrade to 5.0.1 while keeping old baseband?

    I have looked for over an hour and done searches here and decided to try this.I would like to upgrade my ios to 5.0.1 while keeping my 3.1.01 baseband.I cannot use tiny umbrella because its not signed anymore.And yes,I am a noob.Any help will be appreciated.
