Volume icon smack in middle of screen. Ipad 2. ios 7.1.1
JAG, I followed your advice. I did the clean install and restored ipad to backup. The crazy icon was gone but it came back after about 20 minutes. It's locked in the middle of every app and it affects the sound. Any other ideas? Thanks for the help. -

Thanks but no thats not it. I have assistive touch on for years to save the home button. Just crazy icon just started since the update. It's transparent so i can type or touch thru it but gawd!!! I cant stand it.
