I received my "your order is being processed" email from Apple at 3:10AM (EST), so you can see I was able to order my iPhone 5 fairly quickly. However, I haven't received any new emails from them, and when I follow the Order Number on their website it still says "Preparing for Shipment"...

iOS 6 Beta 1 on my iPhone 4S seems to run just as quickly as iOS 5. And, as everyone else has pointed out, Safari is fast. I mean, FAST. If you install iOS 6 now you will not want iOS 5 back just because of Safari's speed. Trust me...haha.

I'd like it to give to my mom. She has Lyme Disease, and because of her pain she has to stay in bed most of the day. So she spends her time on Facebook and playing online games. She has a laptop, but it weighs a ton and she despises it. I know she'd love to have an iPad!
