It is not a matter of being good for the stockholders or not. Apple is in business to make money and a closed model is their method of doing so, there is nothing wrong with that, but it is not a business philosophy that I support. I am not asking them to change, they have made their choice, now...

So the WiFi version of the iPad does not have GPS capabilities but the 3G does?? Does the 3G need to be activated with a data plan to use the GPS?? This does not make sense.. what does the 3G side of things have to do with the GPS receiver? My garmin is not 3G and works great. Need clarification.

Never underestimae the power of the schwartz... I think that would create a ton of buzz. They are the few things that the iPhone is missing that all of its competators have. It is also what everyone is asking for. It is not a huge innovation from a market wide perspective, but it would be huge...

I heard that Jobs finally sold out and the new iphone will be android based. He will also bring back the Motorola startac to use as the new form factor. It will no longer be on AT&T but prepaid only through WalMart. In all seriousness I think it boils down to what all of the other 4G iphone...

ok... forget about google, can I have an exchange address book for work and a second address book, using any other contact program, not necessarily g-mail, for personal contacts

Not to hijack the thread but can contacts be pulled from and saved to multiple locations. I have exchange contacts and google contacts and I want to use both on my cell phone but in computer world I dont want my google contacts in my exchange address book and vice versa.

If there was only 1 thing I could add it would be a notification led on the top edge like blackberrys have.
