The iPad cannot do calling unless you use apps (google voice, VoIP, etc.). It is not a phone.

Hello, I am with Rogers Wireless and my plan supports Data Share. I was just wondering: do I need the 3g version to be able to use the data share?(I think I do). Also, how would I be able to do the data share..?

Free texting to iOS 5 (iMessage) but if I am texting a non iOS 5 phone, I would have to use a texting app (textplus, etc) correct? and for calling; Skype, Google Voice, etc. Correct?
