Not sure if this is the right place to ask but with the mention of new SMS hooks for devs to use will we see an iQuickSMS type app for non-jailbroken phones on iOS4? I loved iQuickSMS and miss it since I no longer jailbreak.

Wow, this looks like super use for the iPhone. We just got back from our vacation, I wish this had been available before we went.

The only reason is my phone was slow and I had to reboot alot with JB. I might re-jailbreak but it's running so fast right now, I would hate to lose that! I have a 2G, BTW.

So a restore doesn't wipe the Cydia apps out? I would like to reclaim that space without jailbreaking if I can.

I restored to 2.2.1 before I did the 3.0 upgrade. Should that have erased all my old Cydia apps or are they still there somewhere. I am not sure I am going to rejailbreak.
