Seems my battery life has improved slightly on my SE. I listen to music/podcasts in my car on my way to work and I would normally lose about 5% of my battery during the 20 minute drive, but today after the drive I still had a full charge. It's not draining as much as it use to.

Here's my take on this: if no new iPhone SE is announced by the time December begins, I will keep my SE instead of updating to the 2nd smallest iPhone (size-wise) and will replace the battery in the SE instead. It'll be covered under the battery replacement program and with iOS 12 and it's...

I did find improvement - after I downgraded to 10.3.3 :biggrin:

It's October 3rd and I downgraded today to 10.3.3 on my SE. Battery life was really bad for me plus a few noticeable irritants became apparent that drove me nuts. Not sure when I'll update (if at all).

Re: iOS 11 Having issues with the stock weather app. The widget does not update every time you view it and other times it shows less information when I have it show more information. The only issue I have with iOS 11. Other than that, smooth sailing so far.

Re: iOS 11 Is out! Got my update on my SE and so far so good. Don't seem to notice any lag as of now. Still charging, so I'll see how the update fares when fully charged and running on battery.

I'm in the same boat; my mid-2009 MBPro runs El Capitan, but it's slower than molasses. I would have loved to been able to revert back to operating system before (maybe even 2 versions before), but am stuck now. Where do you go to see which machines are supported and which one's are not when new...

Here's what I managed to get after my 1st complete charge: I'm not a power user by any means, but this is definitely a significant improvement over my 5S.

Love the SE. Simple as that.

Got my SE yesterday (Friday the 15th) and am glad I upgraded. Love the snappiness, crispness and quickness of the phone compared to my old 5S.

SE shipped last night (the 13th in China; the 12th in Chicago) and should be in my hands this Friday the 15th; can't wait!
