What's So Great About This iPhone Thing?

Had both, went back to android for many reasons. Most of which are it just worked better for me. The iphone was indeed a smooth and beautiful device, and i may look at the ip5 when it comes out. But the bottom line truly is just get what works for you..

Very true indeed.. One never knows what someone else is looking for. just because you own and use an iphone doesn't mean you may not want something else as well..:D

    Losing the feel

The status?!?! As a DX user who converted to ip4 and gave it a whirl and ultimately went back to the X. I can most assuredly say the ip4 had a vastly superior batt life.. But the DX for me was the phone i need at this time.. You cant ask us to change your mind, it has to be a...

I went from ADW to LP. Then ADW EX hit, and I like it far more than LP. But either are loads better than the stock UI's.. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

    Well it was fun

I cant stand stock UI's (moto-blur, sense etc) First thing i did was to install ADW EX. And i don't think just because some users made the switch from any one format to another means one is inferior or superior. Just works better for THAT individual is all. I wanted a device that i didn't...

    Well it was fun

I have found snippy people all over, but so far everyone here has just been great :D. If battery life and ease of interface is your concern, i would wholeheartedly recommend staying with the ip4. It is indeed a fabulous phone. The apps never bothered me as i found the the 100.000 plus on...

    Well it was fun

Good theory on my lack of jb. But I have no intention of returning it. I'm past the time Anyway. I gave it to my niece, who promptly jb it. As I've said i did not root my droids to make them do what I wanted but to experiment and play. Not wanting to do that anymore I opted for the ip4...

    Well it was fun

I truly did consider it, in the end my DX did it all already. We are JB my gf's ip4 this weekend. So wish us luck. We've never done it before, but I'm told its fairly painless. Cheers H Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

And that's what I've heard, however I didn't want to do that just to get an Android "like" experience. This just works for me. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

Oops lol. Never had that. Or been able to swap phones on verizon faster than a SIM. The longest part is waiting for the phone to boot up. Verizon can take a few minutes. (My experience) Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

I don't bash at all. A device either works for you or not, I won't be involved with a hate fest. For me in no particular order it was screen size, widgets, swype, expandable memory, the ability to make any song in my phone a ring tone. And I missed my notifications something awful...
