I wouldn't freeze any electronic device if there was likely still water inside. The ice crystals might very well do more damage before the freezer drying effect worked. I might try that after a few days in a sealed baggie with rice or silaca gel. Better still would be to place the baggie...

What's the big deal with tethered jailbreak? It works! Simple as that. I just don't see why folks are concerned about it. You have to tether to sync and update the OS on occasion, so why the prob with tethering to jailbreak?:confused: HW

Your "fixed" receipt isn't going to do any good since your iPhone was registered. The Apple store will just type in your serial # and find out the warranty is expired. You can't "fix" the registration with Apple.
